To help Sellers manage their fulfillment operations more conveniently, MerchFox V2 introduces Open Ticket, alongside the existing Live Chat feature. Each serves a different purpose: Live Chat enables direct conversations with Support, while Open Ticket helps Sellers submit specific requests and track their progress.
Here's how to choose the right support channel for your needs.
1. Live Chat: Get Direct Support for Urgent Issues

Live Chat is ideal when you need a quick answer, immediate guidance, or direct communication with the Support team.
Use Live Chat when you need to:
Ask a quick question about an order or fulfillment process.
Get clarification on a feature or workflow.
Discuss an issue directly with Support.
Address a case that requires urgent attention.
Through the website, Sellers can communicate with Support in a two-way conversation, making it easier to exchange information and clarify details in real time.
Need to discuss an issue quickly? Start with Live Chat.
Live Chat is available on both MerchFox V1 and V2.
2. Open Ticket: Submit Requests and Track Issues

Some issues require more than a quick conversation. When you have a specific order-related problem that needs Support to investigate, Open Ticket provides a structured way to submit and follow up on your request.
The process is straightforward:
Create Request → Support Receives It → Issue Review → Response → Status Tracking
With Open Ticket, Sellers can submit a request for Support to review and keep a record of the issue. This makes it easier to revisit submitted requests and check their status as the case progresses.
Open Ticket is currently available on MerchFox V2.
3. Live Chat vs. Open Ticket: Which Channel Is Right for You?
Choosing the right channel depends on the type of issue you're dealing with.

In simple terms:
Need to ask or discuss something quickly? Use Live Chat.
Need to submit a request and track its status? Open Ticket.
Both channels are designed to make Seller–Support communication clearer and more convenient throughout the order fulfillment process.
4. Three Ways to Create an Open Ticket on MerchFox V2
Sellers can submit an Open Ticket through three different entry points in the MerchFox V2 Dashboard.
Option 1: From the Order Page
Go to Order → Select the Ticket icon to create a request directly from the order.
Option 2: From Order Detail
Open the relevant order, select Report an issue, and submit your request for Support to review.
Option 3: From the Support Section
Navigate to Support → New Request to create a new ticket.
These options give Sellers different ways to submit an issue, depending on where they are working in the Dashboard.
Choose the Right Support Channel as You Scale
As order volume increases, having a clear way to communicate with Support can help Sellers manage fulfillment issues without losing track of individual requests.
MerchFox V2 brings Live Chat and Open Ticket together to support different working needs: direct conversations for quick questions and structured requests for issues that require follow-up.
