Click Connect Etsy in the MerchFox Seller Portal and approve access on Etsy’s own consent page — no API keys or passwords to copy.
Create draft listings
Pick products from the MerchFox catalog, choose the Etsy category, tags, and price. MerchFox creates draft listings you review and publish on Etsy.
Orders flow in
Paid Etsy orders are imported automatically, with the item and variation your buyer chose, and can be sent straight to production.
Ship and track
When the order ships, the carrier and tracking number are posted to the Etsy order once, so your buyer is notified.

Before you start
What you need on Etsy
- An active Etsy seller account with a shop that is open (not in Vacation Mode).
- A shipping profile and a processing time set in Etsy Shop Manager. MerchFox reads them but never creates or changes them.
- Shipping settings that cover production time plus transit for made-to-order items.
- Original designs you own the rights to, listed in line with Etsy’s creativity standards and production partner rules.
Security & data access
Access you approve, limited to what we need
MerchFox requests the minimum Etsy API scopes required to create listings and fulfill orders.
- OAuth 2.0 authorization with PKCE — your Etsy password is never shared with MerchFox.
- Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest, stored only on our servers, and used only for your shop.
- Disconnect at any time from the Seller Portal — stored tokens are deleted.

Etsy integration questions
How does MerchFox connect to my Etsy shop?
MerchFox uses Etsy’s OAuth 2.0 authorization with PKCE. You start the connection from the MerchFox Seller Portal, sign in to Etsy, and approve the requested access. MerchFox never sees your Etsy password.
What Etsy data can MerchFox access?
Only what the integration needs: basic shop information, listings, and orders. MerchFox does not request access to your email address, your account addresses, billing, shop settings, or the ability to delete listings.
Will MerchFox publish listings live without my review?
No. MerchFox creates draft listings on Etsy. You review each draft in Etsy Shop Manager and decide when it goes live.
Why do I need a shipping profile and processing time?
Etsy requires both before a physical listing can be created. MerchFox checks for them when you connect and before every publish, and points you to the right Shop Manager setting if one is missing.
Can I disconnect MerchFox?
Yes. Disconnect your shop from the Seller Portal at any time and MerchFox deletes the stored Etsy access tokens. After that, MerchFox can no longer read or update anything in your Etsy shop.
How much does the Etsy integration cost?
Connecting Etsy is free. On the Seller plan there is no monthly fee — you pay the product base cost plus shipping for each order MerchFox fulfills. The optional Priority plan lowers base costs. Etsy’s own listing and transaction fees are billed by Etsy as usual.
Who handles customer service and returns?
You remain the seller on Etsy and handle buyer messages. If an item arrives damaged or misprinted, MerchFox reprints or refunds it under our quality policy.
